Creative Juices are flowing...

I really can't believe how long it has been since my last post! In my defence, I have been very very busy and now that Christmas is out of the way I can share a couple!

This is my Heart Quilt which I made for my best friend's 13 year old daughter which has now taken pride of place in her new bedroom! I absolutely loved making it and the quilting was huge fun!

It caused such a stir in the shop that I will now be teaching a simplified version in my shop in July.

Everyone loves a heart, and my 10 year old niece was no exception. The only stipulation was pink and purple, so I went crazy!

Not sure why blogger insists on showing this picture sideways but you get the idea!

I also made my brother Tim a quilt made from his old jeans. He had been complaining that everyone had a quilt except him! So now that is rectified!!!!
So that lot was completed and delivered for Christmas.

Then it was time to make some bits for myself!

This was my attempt to tidy up my scraps boxes!

These look so much better than the plastic boxes I was using before, and they used up some of those lovely scraps to make them!

Another use of scraps was my laptop mat. This was to solve the issue of cold elbows while I am typing which is a terribly modern issue :)

So that is January..... there is more to come but I will share that later! I am teaching at Textile in Focus this year so I am busy putting the finishing touches to a range of beading kits that we will be premiering there on our Bee Crafty stand. Very exciting!
