Well greeting to you, and thank you for joining me for a very special piece of news! I am soon to be launching a range of exclusive Quilt Hampers that I will be dispatching directly to you quarterly. Each box will be loosely themed, with the first launching in August with a light summer feel.
Well greeting to you, and thank you for joining me for a very special piece of news! I am soon to be launching a range of exclusive Quilt Hampers that I will be dispatching directly to you quarterly. Each box will be loosely themed, with the first launching in August with a light summer feel.
Each hamper will contain all the elements you will need to make an exclusive small quilt - approximately 40 inches square, including all the fabric, wadding, backing and binding. Fabrics will be supplied by Craft Cotton Company - so you know the quality will be great! There will also be a bonus kit for you to make an extra something with the scraps left over. The first Quilt Hamper will also contain a Simplicity ruler and a little gift to help you work your stitchy magic. You will just need to add thread! The first Hamper is a machine sewing project, but you can hand stitch it if you wish.

The bundle will include a full colour pattern for both the quilt and the extra project, plus support through a special Facebook Group which you will be added to once you have placed your order. This is why I need your Facebook name (see the button below) This group will allow you to chat to other Hamper recipients, and ask me any questions. I will also host a special go live once you have received your hampers and we can enjoy a cup of tea and a biscuit together (included) as we go through what is in your first box. There will also be exclusive videos on the skills you will need to get going, including binding and quilting.
The total cost of the box is £55 with free postage. - I'm afraid that I can only offer free postage to mainland Britain at this time, overseas postage is however available on request. This first hamper is a limited run of 100, so first come first served. The Hampers will be dispatched mid August - exact dates will be communicated through the Facebook group.

ReplyDeleteHi Joanne - the idea is that you dont really know anything about it until you get it. I give out minimal info on FB - the next one is Blue, Christmas, Dresden and that's all the clues you get :) If you arent keen on the fabric, gift it and use something else. But it is about the surprise, the facebook community and joining in with the excitement. Most people managed to hold off opening the parcel until the Go Live when I revealed what was in it. xx

ReplyDeleteHi Make It Sew - there isnt a waiting list as such, though I am doing more of the next issue because they went so fast. Join my fb page Sarah Payne Quilter and I will announce when the next lot is launching (in October). I am going to make it a limited number of subscriptions going forward so once you are 'in' you have a better chance of staying in :) xx
